Our Story

A lounge built for the grown & sexy.

"I wanted a calm place where my generation could relax, listen to real live music, and feel taken care of."

In August of 2022, local businessman Sheldon Banks transformed the old Pachyderm Pub into something Flint had been missing — a proper jazz lounge. A $300,000 renovation brought a centered bar, a stage that brings the music eye-level with the crowd, gas-fire pits on the patio, and interiors that feel more Midtown Manhattan than mid-Michigan.

Today it's Flint's go-to for great food, live music, and a relaxing, grown-folks atmosphere. Chef-crafted dishes. Handcrafted drinks. Weekly events in a lounge setting. Perfect for date nights, gatherings, or a night out with good vibes.
